Company
The foundation of THALES can be traced back to Dr Christian Szidzek's many years of cooperation in data protection with DAX-listed companies, both in the telecommunications industry and with pharmaceutical groups. Thus, expertise from more than ten years of intensive involvement with data protection at the corporate level can be drawn upon. The idea was to make this expertise available to medium-sized companies as well. In the meantime, THALES can draw on a large number of proven experts in both data protection and data security.
The founder
Dr. Christian Szidzek is a lawyer and worked as a defence lawyer and commercial lawyer in Würzburg from 1999 to 2007. In 2007, he moved to a management consultancy in the Rhine-Main area and took on the position of in-house lawyer until 2012. As early as 2009, Dr Szidzek began to advise on data protection in a large German telecommunications group. Subsequently, the founder worked for many years as an in-house lawyer in an auditing company in Stuttgart and, in addition to this, he looked after well-known credit institutions for many years as a data protection officer and compliance officer in accordance with MaRisk 4.4.2, until he finally became self-employed. Today, Dr. Szidzek serves well-known groups in the chemical, construction and IT industries as well as internationally active law firms as a data protection officer and project manager. He is particularly interested in supporting small and medium-sized companies in data protection. In addition, he trains data protection officers as a trainer (among others for TÜV-SÜD-Akademie GmbH) and regularly publishes in various media. Dr Szidzek is
